One plan, priced per store, and each store costs less as you add more. Every store’s books are kept daily from the register, with labor %, profit by store and the month-end close, with or without QuickBooks, for a single coffee shop or a franchise group of 30 LLCs.
Rhea is in pilot. Pilots for groups of 4 or more stores are open now; one to three stores can start once self-serve sign-up opens.

We’ll quote
Each store is priced in its band, like tax brackets, so adding a store never raises what your other stores cost. Five stores: 3 × $149 + 2 × $139 = $725 a month.
1 to 3 stores
Opens with self-serve sign-up
A coffee shop, a salon, a small chain.
30-day free trial
No setup fee. Optional guided setup: $249, one time
Franchise groups and multi-store owners, up to 30 LLCs.
Onboarding package, one time: $750 for 4–9 stores, $1,000 for 10–19, $1,500 for 20–30
A paid pilot through your first two month-end closes, at $129 per store a month. If those closes can’t be explained to the cent, we refund the pilot (the onboarding package pays for setup work and isn’t refunded)
A named contact, and annual invoices paid by bank transfer (ACH)
Month-end close, checked against your bookkeeper’s books
A morning email with each store’s sales, labor % and over/short
Unlimited users, with free seats for your bookkeeper and CPA
40 files read by Claude per store a month, shared across your stores, plus 50 more per store in your first 60 days
Every file you upload, kept encrypted and linked to the entries it made
Exports of your books to Excel and CSV
The same price with or without QuickBooks
Files read by Claude
Rhea reads a Square connection, its own CSV templates and any spreadsheet layout you’ve confirmed before without help. When you upload a file it can’t read alone, like a photo of an end-of-day report or a PDF, Claude reads it, and that counts as one file (a long PDF counts once for every five pages). Need more than your plan includes? Extra files come in packs of 100 for $25. If a month’s files run out, your connections and Rhea’s CSV templates keep importing.

How we got these numbers
Rhea: 1 store × $149, billed annually.
QuickBooks + a bookkeeper: QuickBooks Online Simple Start ($38) or Essentials ($85), plus a bookkeeper at $300–$500 a month: $38 + $300 = $338 to $85 + $500 = $585.1, 2
QuickBooks + a POS sync tool: QuickBooks Online Simple Start ($38) or Essentials ($85), plus a sync that posts each day’s sales for $10–$45: Vagaro’s QuickBooks sync for salons is $10, Bookkeep (Square, Clover, Toast and others) $19–$41, and Boulevard’s sync $45 per location. $38 + $10 = $48 to $85 + $45 = $130.1, 5, 7
A 5-location chain

What it typically costs a month: A 5-location chain
QuickBooks + a bookkeeper: One company on QuickBooks Online Plus ($140, which tracks locations), plus $300–$500 of bookkeeping for each of the 5 locations: $140 + 5 × $300 = $1,640 to $140 + 5 × $500 = $2,640.1, 2
QuickBooks + a POS sync tool: One company on QuickBooks Online Plus ($140), plus one Bookkeep subscription, since locations booked to one chart of accounts share it: Starter, about $41, to Pro, about $166, which splits sales across up to 5 channels (both billed annually): $140 + $41 = $181 to $140 + $166 = $306.1, 5
Restaurant back-office suite: 5 locations × $315 (MarginEdge: $350 less 10% billed annually) = $1,575, to 5 × $499 (the top of Restaurant365 Essential’s $469–$499) = $2,495. MarginEdge runs alongside your accounting software, which costs extra.3, 4

QuickBooks + a bookkeeper: 15 companies on QuickBooks Online Essentials ($85) or Plus ($140), plus $400–$500 of bookkeeping for each LLC: 15 × ($85 + $400) = $7,275 to 15 × ($140 + $500) = $9,600.1, 2
QuickBooks + a POS sync tool: 15 companies on QuickBooks Online Essentials ($85) or Plus ($140), each with Bookkeep Starter (about $41) or Pro (about $166), billed annually, plus Fathom Gold ($540 for up to 25 companies) for one P&L across the LLCs: 15 × ($85 + $41) + $540 = $2,430 to 15 × ($140 + $166) + $540 = $5,130.1, 5, 6
Restaurant back-office suite: 15 locations × $315 (MarginEdge, billed annually) = $4,725, to 15 × $499 (Restaurant365 Essential) = $7,485. MarginEdge runs alongside your accounting software, which costs extra.3, 4

2.Pilot, Franchise bookkeeping cost. Published September 10, 2026. A local or independent bookkeeper charges about $300–$900 a month for a single location; firms that specialize in franchises about $400–$2,500 or more, with the cost growing roughly per unit, since each LLC is its own set of books. A typical market range, not any one firm’s price. A franchise lender puts the current market rate at $500 a month for each entity: Exponent Financial, bookkeeping for franchise operators, read October 17, 2026.
3.MarginEdge, Pricing. $350 per location a month, 10% off with annual billing. Checked October 17, 2026.
5.Bookkeep, Pricing. Per entity (one chart of accounts) a month: Lite $19, month to month only, up to $200,000 in yearly revenue and 1 sales channel; Starter $49; Pro $199, up to 5 segmented sales channels. Annual plans get 2 months free, about $41 and $166 a month. Checked October 17, 2026.
6.Toolradar, Fathom pricing. Gold $540 a month for up to 25 companies. Verified by Toolradar from Fathom’s pricing page, September 2026; read October 17, 2026.
7.Toolradar, Best accounting software for salons. September 24, 2026. Vagaro’s QuickBooks sync $10 a month, with a separate QuickBooks subscription; Boulevard’s $45 per location a month, on its Premier plan and up.
